Lana B Music was formed after recently graduating from the Australian Institute of Music with a Bachelor of Music (Creative Technology).
I specialise in rock, indie rock, indie pop, folk, singer/songwriter, punk and funk music. I have 6 years of mixing and mastering experience and 7 years of drumming experience in bands. I use Logic Pro for mixing and mastering and also have the setup to record drums and other instruments.
My influences include: Mitski, Avril Lavigne, Beach Bunny, Wolf Alice, Marina and Ricky Montgomery.
Equipment I use: Logic Pro, Basix drum kit, Rech Atomic cymbals, Behringer drum mics and Behringer recording interface.
Music Production services:
Pre-Production/Planning: $20
I’ll listen to your demo and suggest if anything needs to be recorded or re-recorded to take it to the next level. I’ll also suggest any sounds or additional instruments that you could add to enhance your track. I’ll create another version of your demo if needed to demonstrate my ideas to you.
Then, if you choose to take the next steps with me, I’ll work with you to create a recording schedule or I’ll go on to mix and/or master your track.
Recording: $200
I currently conduct my recording sessions at the Australian Institute of Music, Melbourne. But, if you have another space you’d like to conduct your recording, we can organise to do so there. I do my recording in layers e.g drums first, then bass, guitars, keys, vocals ect. I can also record bass and guitar/keys together, guitar/bass/keys and vocals together ect.
Mixing: $150
If you have recorded your track with me I’ll then go on to mix it, which includes editing, volume balancing, adding effects ect. Or if you haven’t recorded your track with me then you can send me the stems or Logic Pro/GarageBand file and I’ll conduct the same mixing process.
Mastering: $50
If I have mixed your track I’ll then go on to master it, which includes all the final touches to make your track release ready. Or if you have a track that’s been mixed, you can send me the .WAV file or the Logic Pro/GarageBand file and I’ll conduct the same mastering process.
Mixing and Mastering: $175
This combines my mixing and mastering services at a discounted rate.
Recording, Mixing, Mastering: $350

For all mixing and mastering services I’ll offer you a free test mix/master of a section of your song before you fully commit. Once you do, I'll send the final mix/master and offer up to 10 revisions to ensure you're happy with the final product.
For all my services, I offer discounted rates for EPs, albums and recurring customers. I'll work out these rates directly with you.
Session drumming services:
Remote session drumming: $100 per song (currently unavailable)
You will provide me with your track/s that need drums and I’ll either write a part for you, or you can send me an example of what you want the drums to sound like. I’ll then record the part/s in my home studio and send you the unmixed stems. I'll offer you a free test drum of a section of your song before you fully commit. Once you do, I'll send the final stems and offer up to 5 revisions to ensure you're happy with the final product.
Studio session drumming: $40 per hour
You will provide me with all the demos and any chord charts/structure charts you may have of the songs you will be recording in your studio session/s. I will then learn the parts and come in for the studio session/s. I’ll also attend any rehearsals you may have before recording. I will charge for studio time only, there will be no additional costs for learning and rehearsals.
Gig session drumming: $100 per show
I require any recordings/demos and chord charts/structure charts of the songs you require me to play at the fill in gig. I will then learn the songs and attend any rehearsals you may have before the show. I will charge for the gig only, there will be no additional costs for learning and rehearsals.
